SUMMARY

As a Sales Assistant, your main responsibility is to provide support to the sales team by performing administrative and customer service tasks. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and help achieve sales targets. Your primary goal is to assist the sales team in generating revenue for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in the store or over the phone.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information.
  • Process customer orders and payments accurately.
  • Revise sales orders and follow up on backorders, claims, and contracts.
  • Communicate with stores, buyers, and distribution centers to ensure sufficient quantities.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department for payments.
  • Assist in sales meetings and events.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team.
  • Follow up with customers regarding orders and shipments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.

Warehouse Coordinator

Warehouse Coordinator, overseeing warehouse operations, and collaborating with sub-contractors to facilitate seamless activities.

  • Assist in unloading trucks and receiving shipments
  • Verify that shipments match what had been ordered and work with appropriate personnel to reconcile any discrepancies
  • Maintain an organized inventory in the stockroom to ensure easy accessibility.
  • Run errands and procure parts as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to streamline warehouse operations and uphold an organized work environment.
  • Perform various maintenance tasks around the buildings, including the replacement of lighting fixtures and general upkeep duties.
  • Schedule and oversee metal container pickups, ensuring timely trash container replacements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • 2+ years' experience in maintenance, warehouse operations, or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Cooperate with fellow team members to ensure seamless operations during absences.
Physical Requirements
  • While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
